Jason Carreiro is regarded as one of the best designers in the world by his mom and several close friends. Prior to starting Loop Dsgn in 2001, Jason was the Design Director at the New York office of Delirium, a web development consultancy with offices throughout Asia. He has over two decades of professional design experience developing projects for best-in-brand companies like Walt Disney, The New England Patriots, Lucasfilm, Condé Nast, The Rockwell Group, Ann Taylor and Estée Lauder.
Jason’s award-winning work has been included in a variety of design books and publications, including: HOW Magazine, the Logo Lounge Master Libraries, Really Good Logos Explained, and the first edition of The End of Print: The Graphic Design of David Carson.
In 2010 Jason had the pleasure and honor of being asked to co-teach an outstanding semester of Typography for Illustrators alongside longtime professor and rock star designer extraordinaire, Nöel Claro at the renowned Parsons School of Design.
In his spare time Jason enjoys long walks on the beach, baking alphabet-shaped scones, and writing about himself in the third person.
“…I like the concept of a loop not only as a metaphor for the fun, creative process of design, but also for the act of collaboration, enrollment and on-boarding. Getting people in the loop — excited, engaged and invested to share and participate in your story, idea or product. That’s the essence of successful communication, brand building and entrepreneurship in my opinion. Partnering with like-minded clients to help execute on those lofty ambitions is always exciting.”
